CHAPTER 226. REQUIREMENTS FOR CERTIFICATION BY THE BOARD |
SECTION 226.1. Application for Certification

(a) To be eligible for certification as a certified and insured prescribed burn manager, an individual must submit the following to the Department: (1) a signed application on a form prescribed by the Board; (2) documentation of experience, as set forth in §226.3 of this title (relating to Experience); (3) documentation of training, as set forth in §226.4 of this title (relating to Training); (4) the required fee, set forth in §226.5 of this title (relating to Fees); and (5) proof of insurance coverage that meets the minimum requirements of §227.1 of this title (relating to Minimum Insurance Requirements). (b) In accord with §2.1 of this title (relating to Application for a License), an incomplete application for certification shall become void on the one-year anniversary of the submission of the incomplete application and an applicant will be required to resubmit the application. This action is not a denial of a license for any purpose under the Texas Government Code, the Texas Agriculture Code, or these rules.
