SECTION 14.25. Motion for Rehearing

A motion for rehearing shall be governed by the Administrative Procedure Act, §§2001.145-2001.146. Communications regarding any such motion shall be directed to the Board, and filed with the Hearings Clerk, General Counsel Division, Texas Department of Agriculture. A copy of the motion for rehearing should also be sent to the opposing party and/or designated representative. Board rulings on motions for rehearing may be made by telephone, mail, or other suitable means of communication in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act, §2001.146. A final determination granting or denying a motion for rehearing may be signed by the Chairman on behalf of the Board.
