SECTION 217.141. Purpose and Scope

This subchapter prescribes the policies and procedures necessary to protect the public by requiring inspection of assembled vehicles, accurately identify the identity of a motor vehicle, and provides department approved training programs which if successfully completed qualify a person to conduct vehicle identification number inspections.
