SECTION 215.204. Notification to Manufacturer, Converter, or Distributor

(a) Upon receipt of a complaint for lemon law or warranty performance relief, the department will: (1) provide notification of the complaint to, and request a response from, the appropriate manufacturer, converter, or distributor; and (2) provide a copy of the complaint to, and may request a response from, the selling dealer and any other dealer involved with the complaint. (b) The manufacturer shall, upon request by the department, provide a copy of the warranty for the motor vehicle subject to the lemon law or warranty performance complaint.
