SECTION 856.40. Provision of Goods and Services

(a) The Vocational Rehabilitation Division, as appropriate to the vocational rehabilitation needs of each eligible individual, provides goods and services necessary to render a customer employable, subject to certain limitations prescribed in this subchapter and Subchapters D and E of this chapter (relating to Customer Participation; and Comparable Benefits). (b) Services are provided only as planned in advance and set forth in the customer's individualized plan for employment (IPE). The IPE must be designed to achieve a specific employment outcome that is selected by the individual consistent with the individual's unique strengths, resources, priorities, concerns, abilities, capabilities, interests, and informed choice.
