SECTION 55.43. Complaints

A provider agency must:
(1) comply with the complaint procedures outlined under Chapter 49 of this title (relating to Contracting for Community Care Services); and (2) promptly contact the local health authorities to report complaints involving two or more persons with symptoms of food-borne illnesses that have occurred within a similar timeframe after consuming food from the provider agency, and request the local health authorities initiate an investigation of these complaints.
