SECTION 227.7. School Marshal Renewals

(a) A school marshal license expires on August 31 following the second anniversary of the date the commission licenses the person. (b) The commission may renew the license of a person who has: (1) successfully completed a renewal course designed and administered by the commission which will not exceed a combined 16 hours of classroom and simulation training; (2) passed a commission exam; (3) demonstrated handgun proficiency as required by the commission; and (4) demonstrated psychological fitness. (c) The effective date of this section is June 1, 2022.
