SECTION 5.9313. Filing Format Requirements

(a) Documents included in filings may not be encrypted or password protected. TDI staff must be able to fully process and review the documents without a password or other decryption process. (b) The policy forms, endorsements, and form usage tables submitted in a filing under Division 5 of this subchapter (relating to Filings Made Easy - Requirements for Property and Casualty Policy Form and Endorsement Filings) must: (1) not be scanned documents; (2) not include any scanned text, or scanned images with text, that will be part of the insurance contract; (3) be in a format that is selectable and searchable; and (4) be in portrait, not landscape, orientation.
