(a) The interest rates used in determining the minimum standard for valuation of preneed life insurance are the calendar year statutory valuation rates as defined in Insurance Code Chapter 425, Subchapter B, concerning Standard Valuation Law. (b) The interest rates used in determining the minimum standard for nonforfeiture values for preneed life insurance are the calendar year statutory nonforfeiture interest rates as defined in Insurance Code Chapter 1105, concerning Standard Nonforfeiture Law for Life Insurance.
