SECTION 361.69. Quality Assurance Plan

(a) A contractor must develop a quality assurance plan that describes the contractor's system of self-monitoring to ensure: (1) consistency and quality of care provided to wards of the guardianship program; and (2) compliance with: (A) the Texas Estates Code; (B) other requirements imposed by the courts; and (C) the guardianship provider handbook, other program policies, rules, and standards. (b) A contractor must make a copy of its quality assurance plan available to DADS contract monitoring staff at the request of DADS staff and before an annual contract monitoring review. (c) A contractor must review its quality assurance plan annually and update it as necessary. The contractor must provide a copy of an updated plan to the DADS contract manager if the plan is updated.
