SECTION 361.155. Maintenance of Records

(a) A contractor must maintain all records until the later of the following occurs: (1) seven years elapse from the expiration or termination date of the records; or (2) all litigation, claims, and audit findings involving the records are resolved. (b) Upon termination of a contract, the contractor must ensure the following: (1) records are stored and are accessible; (2) someone is responsible for adequately maintaining the records; (3) the DADS contract manager is notified in writing regarding the location of the records and who DADS may contact to access the records; and (4) if there is a change in the location of the records or a change in the person assigned to provide access to the records, the DADS contract manager is provided the updated information in writing within 10 calendar days after the change.
