SECTION 231.91. Reserve Officer Training Corps

(a) An assignment for Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC), Grades 6-12, is allowed with one of the following credentials. (1) Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps: Grades 6-12 certificate. (2) Emergency permit for Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC), Grades 6-12. (b) An emergency permit for ROTC may not be renewed, but must be reissued every year as specified in §230.77(g)(4) of this title (relating to Specific Requirements for Initial Emergency Permits). (c) School districts must apply and pay for reissuance of a new ROTC instructor emergency permit each year the instructor serves.
