SECTION 231.153. American Sign Language, Grades 9-12

(a) An assignment for American Sign Language, Levels I-IV, Grades 9-12, or American Sign Language, Advanced Independent Study is allowed with one of the following certificates. (1) American Sign Language. (2) American Sign Language: Early Childhood-Grade 12. (b) The Texas Assessment of Sign Communication-American Sign Language (TASC-ASL) is required for an American Sign Language assignment.
