SECTION 218.70. Purpose

The purpose of this subchapter is to provide for an efficient and effective system of enforcement of Transportation Code, Chapters 643, 645, and 648, by establishing procedures for the assessment of administrative penalties; the suspension, revocation, and denial of motor carrier registration and leasing business registration; cease and desist orders; and probation of the suspension of a motor carrier's certificate of registration.
