SECTION 823.33. Finality of Decision

(a) The decision of the hearing officer is the final decision of the Agency after the expiration of 14 calendar days from the mailing date of the decision unless within that time: (1) a request for reopening is filed with the Agency; (2) a request for rehearing is filed with the Agency; or (3) the Agency assumes continuing jurisdiction to modify or correct a decision. (b) Any decision issued in response to a request for reopening or rehearing or a modification or correction issued by the Agency shall be final on the expiration of 14 calendar days from the mailing date of the decision, modification, or correction.
