SECTION 702.207. How can you request confidential case records?

If you are entitled to confidential case records, you can request the records in the following ways:
(1) For the quickest response, submit your request for client records electronically through the Department of Family and Protective Services' (DFPS) website. (2) You also may submit a written request by mail. Written requests must be made on a DFPS Information Request Form and mailed to the DFPS Records Management Group at Y-937, P.O. Box 149030, Austin, TX, 78714-9030 with a copy of your photo identification. The forms can be found on the DFPS website.
