SECTION 700.891. Who is eligible for the HCB stipend?

To qualify for the health coverage benefit, an adopted child must:
(1) Have been in the conservatorship of DFPS at the time of adoptive placement; (2) Be the subject of a final order of adoption entered on or after September 1, 2007; (3) Be under 18 years of age; (4) Not be eligible for medical assistance under Chapter 32 of the Human Resources Code; and (5) Be a member of an adoptive family with a household income less than 300% of the federal poverty level.
