SECTION 700.309. Administrative Reviews of Client Complaints

Child protective services clients have the right to an administrative review of any complaint about the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services' child protective services. When clients make a complaint, staff inform the clients that they may request an administrative review. An administrative review is conducted by staff at a higher level than the worker within a reasonable time after the client requests the review.
