SECTION 106.421. Interpreter Services and Note-Taking Services for Consumers Who Are Deaf and Tactile Interpreting for Consumers Who Are Deafblind

When delivering interpreter services, note-taking services, or tactile interpreting to persons who are deaf or deafblind, DBS uses interpreters, if available, who are certified by one of the following:
(1) DARS, Division for Rehabilitation Services, Office for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services; or (2) The Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf. Source Note: The provisions of this §106.421 adopted to be effective December 10, 2012, 37 TexReg 9644
