SECTION 106.307. Application

(a) A person is considered to have submitted an application when the person or the person's representative, as appropriate: (1) has completed and signed the DBS application form or has otherwise requested services; (2) has provided information necessary to initiate an assessment to determine eligibility and priority for services; and (3) is available to complete the assessment process. (b) Persons residing in institutions, such as state hospitals or prisons, may apply for services when their release is expected within 60 days.
