SECTION 101.811. Confidentiality of Consumer Information in the Specialized Telecommunications Assistance Program

(a) All information DARS receives in the application process for the STAP, including names and addresses, may be used only to administer the STAP. DARS administers the STAP under Chapter 109 of this title (relating to Office for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services). (b) DARS may not advertise, distribute, or publish the name, address, or other related information about a person who applies for assistance under the STAP. Information concerning the STAP is exempted from disclosure under the Public Information Act. (c) All STAP applicant information is the sole property of DARS.
