SECTION 101.1001. Purpose

(a) This division establishes procedures under which an applicant or eligible person may appeal a determination made either by the Division for Blind Services or by the Division for Rehabilitation Services that affects the provision of vocational rehabilitation services, independent living services, and comprehensive rehabilitation services for that applicant or eligible person. (b) The provisions of this subchapter shall not be construed so as to enlarge, diminish, modify, or alter the jurisdiction, powers, or authority of DARS or the substantive rights of any person.
