SECTION 3.27. Discretion by Traffic Enforcement Officers Allowed

  • Traffic law enforcement officers of the department of public safety are allowed the use of judgment in situations requiring an interpretation of the enforcement policies and are allowed reasonable discretion in determining the presence and extent of major extenuating circumstances or aggravating circumstances or conditions.
