(a) Before making an offer of employment for a position eligible for certification under this chapter, a department or facility must verify that the applicant: (1) has not been designated as ineligible for certification by TJJD; (2) has not had his/her certification revoked; (3) is not currently under an order of active suspension issued by TJJD; and (4) is not currently ineligible to take the certification exam due to repeated failures to pass the exam as described in §344.700 of this title.
