SECTION 343.704. Pre-Admission Requirements

(a) Prior to admitting a resident into the physical training program, the following documentation shall be reviewed by the facility administrator or designee: (1) a medical release signed and dated by a physician approving the resident's participation in the facility's physical training program; (2) the physician's acknowledgement of the components of the physical training program; and (3) a psychological evaluation or behavioral health assessment, which shall indicate whether there are therapeutic contraindications to the resident's participation in the physical training program. (b) The documentation required by this standard shall be maintained in the resident's file or the resident's medical file.
