SECTION 343.438. Level of Supervision--SOHU

(a) While residents are located in a SOHU during program hours, they shall be in the constant physical presence of a juvenile supervision officer unless: (1) the residents are placed in their individual sleeping quarters, in which case a juvenile supervision officer shall observe and document each resident's behavior at random intervals not to exceed 15 minutes; or (2) an exception in §343.446 of this title applies. (b) While residents are located in a SOHU during non-program hours, a juvenile supervision officer shall visually observe each resident at random intervals not to exceed 15 minutes. (c) Juvenile supervision officers shall document each visual observation made. The documentation shall include the time of the observation and generally describe the resident's behavior.
