SECTION 28.106. Analysis of CODIS Records and Reports

A CODIS user laboratory may analyze a biological sample collected under this chapter or other DNA sample only:
(1) to type the genetic markers contained in the sample; (2) for criminal justice and law enforcement purposes; or (3) for other purposes described by this subchapter or a purpose described by §28.22 of this title (relating to DNA Database Purposes).
