SECTION 150.56. Policies Pertaining to the Administration of the Agency

(a) The Board has overall managerial responsibility for developing, promulgating, and investigating policies on parole and mandatory supervision. (b) The Presiding Officer of the Board or the Presiding Officer's designee acts as the agency's liaison to the legislature. The Board shall have final approval over all proposed legislation before being submitted to the legislature. (c) The Presiding Officer of the Board or the Presiding Officer's designee shall serve as agency spokesperson on all matters pertaining to Board policy.
