SECTION 7.8. Working Sketches, General

  • (a) Definition. Working sketches are plats of original surveys showing the field notes that are on file in the General Land Office. The field notes are shown by platting course and distance and, by symbol and/or writing, showing the other calls in the field notes. Generally, unless otherwise requested, the working sketches are made by using the patented field notes or the deed of acquittance field notes.

    (b) Cost. The cost of preparing such sketches is based on an hourly rate as set by the legislature.
