SECTION 65.230. Permit Denial

(a) The department may refuse to issue a depredation permit to any person who within five years of applying for a depredation permit has been finally convicted of: (1) a violation of Parks and Wildlife Code, Chapter 43, Subchapter H; (2) a violation of the conditions of a depredation permit; or (3) a violation of Parks and Wildlife Code that is a Class B misdemeanor, a Class A misdemeanor, or a felony. (b) The department may prohibit a person from participating in activities under a depredation permit if the person has been convicted of a violation listed in subsection (a) of this section within the previous five years.
