The following words and terms shall have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.
(1) Applicant--A person who seeks to obtain a license or permit issued by the department. (2) Final conviction--A final judgment of guilt, the granting of deferred adjudication or pretrial diversion, or the entering of a plea of guilty or nolo contendere. (3) License or Permit--A non-recreational license or permit issued by the department, including but not limited to the licenses and permits listed in §56.7 of this title (relating to Permits and Licenses Affected).
