SECTION 363.934. Engineering Design Approvals

The following applies to projects requiring engineering services.
(1) A rural community shall obtain executive administrator approval of contract documents, including engineering plans and specifications, prior to receiving bids and awarding the contract. (2) After receiving bids, the rural community will submit for the executive administrator's approval the following documents: (A) a tabulation of all bids received and an explanation for any rejected bids or otherwise disqualified bidders; (B) one executed original copy of each construction contract; (C) evidence that the necessary acquisitions of land, leases, easement and rights-of-way have been completed or that the rural community has the legal authority to complete the acquisitions; and (D) other such instruments or documents as the board or executive administrator may require.
