SECTION 363.71. General Responsibilities

  • (a) After the satisfactory completion of the project, the political subdivision shall be held responsible by the board for the continued compliance with all representations and assurances made to the board. To protect the state's monetary investment and the public interest, the executive administrator is authorized to conduct site visits of the project and review operational and financial records. Certified copies of all documents relating to the operation of the project and compliance with agreements relating to board financial assistance shall be provided as requested.

    (b) Should any information obtained by the executive administrator indicate noncompliance with any agreements, the executive administrator shall require the political subdivision to take timely corrective action. Failure to correct problems may be cause for referral to the attorney general.
