SECTION 336.722. Termination of License

(a) Following any period of institutional control needed to meet the requirements found necessary under §336.715 of this title (relating to Standards for Issuance of a License, License Amendment, or License Renewal), the licensee (custodial agency) may apply for an amendment to terminate the license. (b) This application shall be filed, and reviewed, in accordance with applicable provisions of Chapter 305 of this title (relating to Consolidated Permits). (c) A license may be terminated only when the commission finds that: (1) The institutional control requirements found necessary under §336.715(7) of this title have been met; and (2) Any additional requirements resulting from new information developed during the institutional control period have been met and that permanent monuments or markers warning against intrusion have been installed.
