SECTION 336.1201. Purpose and Scope

(a) This section establishes the requirements for management of commercial radioactive substances processing and storage facilities, the procedures and criteria for the issuance of licenses to receive, possess, transport, store, and process radioactive substances from other persons, and the terms and conditions upon which the agency may issue such licenses. (b) In addition to the requirements of this subchapter, all licensees, unless otherwise specified, are subject to the requirements of Subchapters A - E and G of this chapter (relating to General Provisions; Radioactive Substance Fees; General Disposal Requirements; Standards for Protection Against Radiation; Notices, Instructions, and Reports to Workers and Inspections; and Decommissioning Standards).
