SECTION 116.604. Duration and Renewal of Registrations to Use Standard Permits

An owner or operator who chooses to use a standard permit shall register to use a standard permit in accordance with §116.611 of this title (relating to Registration to Use a Standard Permit), unless otherwise specified in a specific standard permit.
(1) The registration to use a standard permit is valid for a term not to exceed ten years. (2) The holder of a standard permit shall be required to renew the registration to use a standard permit by the date the registration expires. Any registration renewal shall include the requirements, as applicable, of §116.611 of this title (relating to Registration to Use a Standard Permit) and shall provide information determined by the commission to be necessary to demonstrate compliance with the requirements and conditions of the standard permit and with applicable state and federal regulations. (3) The commission will provide written notice to registrants of the renewal deadline at least 180 days prior to the expiration of the registration. (4) The commission may choose to renew registrations to use specific standard permits automatically, and, in such cases, will provide written notice to registrants.
