SECTION 13.512. ERISA's Applicability; Severability of Subchapter's Provisions

(a) This subchapter applies to an approved PEO and its plan and trust to the extent permitted by the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), 29 U.S.C. §§1001-1191c. (b) If a court of competent jurisdiction holds that any provision of this subchapter or its application to any person or circumstance is invalid for any reason, the invalidity does not affect other provisions or applications of this subchapter that can be given effect without the invalid provision or application.
