SECTION 749.3631. What are the requirements if adoptive applicants previously adopted a child from another child-placing agency or were previously foster parents for another agency?

(a) You must request information related to the parents' experience and performance as foster and/or adoptive parents from the previous agency and any background information regarding the foster home as described in §749.2447(22) of this title (relating to What information must I obtain for the foster home screening?). (b) If provided, you must evaluate the information as part of your screening and placement decisions regarding the home. You must use the information to evaluate the family's ability to work with specific kinds of behaviors and backgrounds.
