SECTION 749.3571. Must I offer counseling services to birth parents after the adoption of their child is consummated?

(a) Yes. You must offer counseling services to birth parents after the consummation of the adoption. (b) You must ensure that birth parents are notified in writing that counseling services are available through the agency on an ongoing basis. (c) You may provide counseling services directly or through referrals to counseling resources outside your agency.
