SECTION 749.2203. What is the appropriate action for a caregiver to take to ensure the child's adequate respiration, circulation, and overall well-being?
Latest version.
-
Appropriate action includes responding prudently to a potentially life-threatening situation, for example, releasing a child when a child is unresponsive or indicates the child cannot breathe and immediately seeking medical assistance from a health-care professional. The caregiver must take into account that a child may thrash about more violently as the child struggles to breathe.
