SECTION 749.111. What must my placement policies include?

Your placement policy must include a description of how you will:
(1) Ensure that your agency will not place a child before determining that foster care and/or adoption is appropriate for the child; (2) Match a child with a foster and/or adoptive home to ensure that the child's needs are met; (3) Make every effort to place siblings together and document in each child's record when it is necessary to separate siblings; and (4) Ensure contact between siblings is maintained when siblings are not placed together or document why contact is not appropriate for one or more of the siblings.
