SECTION 748.3857. What parameters must I follow for drinking water during a hiking or camping excursion?

(a) Drinking water used during a hiking or camping excursion must come from a source known to be safe or must be rendered safe. (b) An adequate supply of water, under pressure where possible, must be provided at the cooking area for hand washing, dishwashing, food preparation, and drinking.
