SECTION 748.1795. What activities must I provide for toddlers?

You must provide the following activities for a toddler:
(1) Daily opportunities for outdoor play, when weather permits; (2) Opportunities for thinking skills and sensory development; (3) Opportunities for small and large-muscle development; (4) Opportunities for language development; (5) Opportunities for social/emotional development; (6) Opportunities to develop self-help skills such as toileting, hand washing, and feeding; and (7) Supervised naptimes. You must provide a supervised sleep or rest period after the noon meal for all toddlers.
