SECTION 748.121. What abuse and neglect policies must I develop?

You must develop policies on preventing, recognizing, and responding to abuse and neglect of children, including:
(1) Required annual training for employees; (2) Methods for increasing employee awareness of issues regarding child abuse and neglect, including warning signs that a child may be a victim of abuse or neglect; (3) Methods for increasing employee awareness of prevention techniques for child abuse and neglect; (4) Strategies for coordination between the operation and appropriate community organizations; and (5) Actions that the parent of a child who is a victim of abuse or neglect should take to obtain assistance and intervention.
