SECTION 747.3227. May I use water from a private water supply instead of a public water supply for my child-care home?

Yes, you may use water from a private water supply, although you must:
(1) Maintain the water supply in a safe and sanitary manner. (2) Maintain written records indicating that the private water supply meets the requirements of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, if applicable.
