SECTION 746.4807. How do I measure the use zone for to-fro swings?

(a) The use zone to the front and rear of to-fro swings (single-axis swings) must extend twice the height of the vertical distance from the swing beam to the protective surfacing below. (b) The use zone to the front and rear of the to-fro swing must not overlap any other use zone. (c) The use zone around the sides of the to-fro swing structure (frame which supports the swings) must be at least six feet and may overlap the use zone of an adjacent swing structure.
