SECTION 745.245. How do I demonstrate that the governing body is not delinquent in paying the franchise tax?

If the governing body is a for-profit corporation or a limited liability company, then you must submit:
(1) The governing body's most recent Franchise Tax Certificate of Good Standing; or (2) The Articles of Incorporation if the corporation or company has not existed long enough to owe the tax at the time of the application; or (3) Documented proof that Texas Tax Code, Chapter 171, exempts the corporation or company from paying the tax.
