SECTION 742.303. What general responsibilities do caregivers have?

Primary and substitute caregivers:
(1) Are responsible for seeing that children are: (A) Treated with courtesy, respect, acceptance, and patience; (B) Not abused, neglected, or exploited; and (C) Released only to a parent or a person designated by a parent; (2) Must demonstrate competency, good judgment, and self-control in the presence of children; (3) Must know and comply with the minimum standards specified in this chapter; (4) Must know each child's name and age; (5) Must supervise children at all times, as specified in §742.305 of this subchapter (relating to What does "supervise children at all times" mean?); and (6) Must interact with children in a positive manner.
