SECTION 711.1404. How are the terms physical abuse, sexual abuse, verbal or emotional abuse, neglect, exploitation, and financial exploitation defined for the purpose of this subchapter?

(a) For In-home investigations, the definitions of physical abuse, sexual abuse, verbal or emotional abuse, neglect, and financial exploitation are adopted pursuant to §48.002(c), Human Resources Code, and are found in Title 40, Texas Administrative Code, Chapter 705, Subchapter A (relating to Definitions) in the rules adopted pursuant to §48.002(c) of the Human Resources Code. (b) For provider investigations--the definitions of physical abuse, sexual abuse, verbal or emotional abuse, neglect, and exploitation are adopted pursuant to §48.002(b), Human Resources Code, and are found in Subchapter A of this chapter (relating to Introduction).
