SECTION 350.828. Medical Review for ECI Services

The interdisciplinary team considers the child's medical history before planning services and throughout the child's enrollment. The IFSP team must:
(1) review pertinent medical information before developing the IFSP; (2) request additional health information necessary to develop an appropriate plan of service; (3) delay or adjust the implementation procedures or services until the necessary health information is obtained and reviewed; (4) continue to review medical records that become available after enrollment; and (5) delay or adjust the implementation of procedures or service if the health or safety of the child is in jeopardy.
